The OCB is thrilled to announce our recent success in grant applications.
We’d like start off by thanking the Dufferin County Council for awarding us one of the 2022 Dufferin Community Grants ($1000). This money will be used to purchase music and help make our 2022-2023 season possible.
We are overwhelmed to share that we also received a $43,600 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) funded by the Government of Ontario. This money has been going toward purchasing much needed instruments and equipment which enables our band to continue to provide musical engagement even with the extra challenges presented by Covid. So far, we have purchased a Timpani set, Bongos, Chimes and other instruments that we have not had access to since March 2020. Some of these pieces have started to arrive! Our band sound is filling out, and our hearts are filled with gratitude!
